Core Responsibilities:

  • Risk Evaluation & Assessment:
    • Identify, evaluate, and quantify financial risks linked to the organization’s operations and investments.
    • Perform comprehensive risk assessments to determine potential effects on financial outcomes and strategic goals.
    • Create and sustain risk evaluation models and tools to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Risk Management Framework:
    • Develop and execute thorough risk management frameworks and strategies.
    • Propose and formulate risk mitigation strategies and controls to manage identified risks.
    • Work alongside senior leadership to embed risk management practices within business operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
    • Guarantee compliance with applicable financial regulations, standards, and internal guidelines.
    • Compile and present risk management reports and analyses to senior management and regulatory entities.
    • Oversee and report on the efficacy of risk management practices and suggest enhancements.
  • Communication with Stakeholders:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial risk management, emphasizing enterprise risk management, financial analysis, and compliance.
  • Strong comprehension of financial regulations, industry standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing risk management strategies and controls.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to stakeholders.
