Job Title: Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Supplemental Health Care. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Job Summary:

The Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests on patient specimens, collecting and testing samples, and analyzing results to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens to detect, diagnose, and monitor diseases
  • Collect and test samples from patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Analyze laboratory results to identify trends and patterns
  • Communicate results to physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information
Requirements:
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in medical technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
