Job Overview

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading fleet maintenance company in the US, is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic/Technician to join our team in Shelbyville, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for timely repair and maintenance of medium duty fleet vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Estimated Salary: $40/hour (paid weekly)

Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Reefer vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer.
  • Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles.
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance.
  • Remove or install various parts on vehicles.
Requirements
  • Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier).
  • 608 and 609 Certifications required and/or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience with PMs and A/C.
  • Valid Drivers License- Class C.
  • Ability to provide own hand tools & toolbox.
