Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the Radiology Department at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in ongoing education and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Provide high-quality radiology services to children from birth to young adulthood and other patients as assigned, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Conduct medical diagnostic radiography procedures, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to produce accurate and informative images.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Maryland, along with current CPR certification.
  • Minimum two years of recent experience in radiography, preferably in pediatric settings, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Physical and Environmental Demands

The Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem will be regularly exposed to body fluids, infectious waste, and blood-borne diseases, requiring the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to established protocols. The role may also involve irregular hours and occasional stress due to emergency situations or multiple demands.
