Job Title: Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our world-class concert venue, Benaroya Hall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the facilities maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with event managers, internal staff, and clients to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, prioritizing occupant safety and minimizing downtime.
  • Promote a culture of safety, adhering to applicable codes, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial facilities maintenance, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Journey-level standing as an HVAC Mechanic, with proven hands-on experience in diagnostics and repair.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Insight DDC Controls and refrigeration equipment.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Solid understanding of FA-Systems and testing, including backup emergency generated power.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and bending, as well as climbing ladders and working from heights. You will also need to pull, lift, and climb stairs, and possess the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
