The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Loyola University Medical Center is currently recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to provide services to oncology patients and their families at the cancer center.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed clinical psychologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a dynamic care team to provide assessment and consultation services for hematology/oncology patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and consultation services for oncology patients and their families
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of new programs and services
- Contribute to the educational program for psychology trainees, oncology and psychiatry residents, fellows, and medical students
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a licensed (or license-eligible) clinical psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree and have completed an APA-approved internship. Experience in health psychology is required, and experience in psychosocial oncology is strongly preferred.
