Role Summary

The Boeing Company is currently looking for a Wheel and Brake Specialist to become part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic assembly tasks on structural and mechanical components, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.
  • Assemble and evaluate hydraulic and hose systems in compliance with applicable technical specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Work Environment

This role requires full-time onsite presence.

Compliance Requirements

To comply with export control regulations, candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person as per 22 C.F.R. This includes U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Safety Considerations

This position is classified as safety-sensitive and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 pounds regularly during an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods while handling products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Experience in mechanical and/or hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documents and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Lean production or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting.

Education and Experience:

Entry Level: Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

Experienced Level: Typically requires a high school diploma or GED along with one or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates should reside in the immediate area or be prepared to relocate at their own expense.

Shift Details:

This position is designated for the first shift.

Compensation:

Salary range for Entry Level: $48,800 - $55,200. Salary range for Experienced Level: $50,150 - $67,850.
