The Role
The Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate with our development and engineering teams to develop mechanical system designs for data centers across the Americas. This individual will work closely with our team, including partners, customers, and vendors, to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop growth plans and implement solutions for current and future data centers across different regions and climates of North America and LATAM.
- Work closely with our consultants, contractors, and partners to define new projects and existing site expansions.
- Coordinate mechanical designs and specifications, support budget reviews, and construction efforts.
- Maximize efficiencies and reliability by working closely with our Operations Teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technology-related discipline.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in design, construction, and commissioning of industrial cooling systems.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in successfully leading and managing teams, projects, or programs to determine and implement company-level strategic objectives.
- Professional experience in mechanical engineering project management.
- Strong and in-depth working knowledge and proven performance of data center design.
