Ninja Coach Job Description

Job Summary:

The YMCA of Southern Arizona is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ninja Coach to join our team. As a Ninja Coach, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of ninja classes in a positive, safe, and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach ninja classes to children and adults of all ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of ninja programs and events.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and productive experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience teaching ninja classes or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ninja techniques and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and adults with special needs.
  • Knowledge of gymnastics, sports, or fitness.
  • Ability to lift equipment and assist students with physical needs.
