Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join our dynamic team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors.
  • Complete all closing reports, including financial reports, and record transactions in our inventory management system at time of order.
  • Obtain change required for expected business level and keep our cash handling procedures secure at all times.
  • Count the cash at the end of the shift, complete designated financial reports, resolve any discrepancies, and deposit receipts.
  • Transport the cash to/from the assigned workstation.
  • Resolve any cash overages or shortages as requested by our accounting department.
  • Communicate with guests and other employees and ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality management or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
