We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Anesthesia Technician II to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing clinical support and technical expertise to ensure the safe and effective operation of anesthesia equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to anesthesia providers, including setup and maintenance of anesthesia equipment
- Perform routine testing and calibration of anesthesia machines and equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform corrective maintenance actions as needed
- Assist outside vendors with equipment repair and maintenance
- Develop and implement new equipment PM and incoming acceptance testing procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide a cooperative work environment
- Associate's degree in electronics, computer, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of experience working on anesthesia medical equipment and systems
- American Society of Anesthesia Tech Certification
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
