Job Title: Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients' existing systems, including building automation, energy management, maintenance programs, and life-cycle asset management approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops analysis methods to determine the reliability of components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL's enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.
  • Acquires and analyzes data from connected systems and continually improves maintenance program strategy to meet outcomes-based performance measures.
  • Conducts ongoing maintenance maturity assessments to assure progress to plan.
  • Oversees root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures to determine the required corrective action for the situation.
  • Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.
Requirements:
  • BS in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical preferred.
  • Five to 10 years' experience implementing RCM, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and thorough understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches.
  • Experience with building automation systems and automated fault detection & diagnostics with integration of connected systems.
  • Experience in critical/regulated environments preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing environments, automotive, petro-chemicals, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, labs, or distribution facility types required.
  • Ability to use variety of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and IT tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Reliability Leader is preferred.
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.
  • Level 2 thermography certification is preferred.
  • Level 2 vibration certification is preferred.
  • Level 2 ultrasound certification is preferred.
