We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period, providing individualized attention and support to meet their unique needs.
- Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Provide exceptional patient experience, ensuring that patients and their families feel informed, supported, and valued throughout their care journey.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room setting, with a strong background in surgical nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License, with the ability to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification, with a commitment to maintaining these certifications and staying current with the latest clinical practices.
