Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special/advanced procedures.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification for Mammography or CT preferred.
  • Advanced certification for MRI within 24 months of hire preferred.
  • ARRT breast ultrasound certification preferred.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work effectively in a team setting.
