About the Position- Employed position with McKenzie Heart Group
- Recognized as an STS 3-Star for the CABG Program
- Practice is consistently growing, increasing the Cardiac, Thoracic and TAVR cases annually
- Schedule: 1 Clinic Day per Week w/ remainder being OR and IP Management
- Supportive Administration & Collegial Staff
- Office space and necessary equipment available
- Office has 16 exam rooms, Cardiopulmonary Rehab
- CTS Program currently has 1 Surgeon, 1 Physician Assistant with additional coverage in place - looking to add a 2nd PA/NP
- Call responsibilities include OR Coverage, Inpatient Management, and Outpatient Phone Calls. Call is shared with additional support from locums and is highly manageable leading to great quality of life.
- Experience in Vein Harvesting
- Experience as Surgical 1st Assist
- Certified PA/NP
- Must be able to provide: Surgical 1st Assist including VATS and Thoracotomies, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting, Pre-op evaluation of patients and surgery prep, post-op inpatient management in CVICU and Telemetry Floor as well as post-op evaluations in follow-up appointments
