Warehouse Associate Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper storage.
  • Stage merchandise for timely shipments, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Move merchandise between the dock, stockroom, sales floor, and customer pickup or delivery areas.
  • Audit and maintain accuracy of inventory levels, ensuring that all merchandise is properly accounted for.
  • Assemble and disassemble fixtures for seasonal flexes or floor plan changes.
  • Process receipts and ensure inventories are controlled, monitored, and logged.
  • Creates required documentation to log all shipments and deliveries to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service through timely, attentive, and friendly service during all customer interactions.
  • Report and respond to management about unsafe and/or unethical conditions.
  • Develop a positive team environment with the sales floor, providing timely movement of merchandise and setting floor to presentation standards.
  • Protect company assets by following company policies and direction for customer pickup procedures.
  • Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening, etc.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds in weight to maintain flow and replenishment of merchandise.
