Assembler II Job Description

Spherion Staffing is seeking a skilled Assembler II to join our team in Stead, NV. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a Fortune 500 manufacturing client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
  • Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices as needed
  • Work under closer supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
  • Pick, pack, and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Handle 50-pound parts to assist with large part construction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
  • Keep work area clean and safe
Requirements:
  • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
  • Requires fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion
  • Able to regularly lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ocassionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must be able to wear required PPE as required by company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Background check and drug test required
  • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
  • Able to regularly lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas)
  • Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity
  • Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
