Position Overview:
As a travel nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with diverse clinical exposure, including neurology and solid Critical Care Unit (CCU) experience.
- Proficiency in AHA BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is essential.
Work Schedule:
- Night shifts, 12 hours, including weekends and holidays.
- 36 hours per week with a structured break.
Additional Information:
- This position includes floating responsibilities across various departments (DOU/PCU, TELE, ER HOLD) with patient ratios up to 1:4.
- Adherence to COVID-19 policies and immunization requirements is mandatory.
