Job Summary

Lights Staffing Agency is recruiting a skilled Patient Access Manager to lead our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring seamless communication between departments.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and improve patient registration processes to enhance the patient experience.
  2. Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction through effective staff training and coaching.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to reduce wait times and optimize registration efficiency.
  4. Analyze and address patient complaints in a timely manner.
  5. Oversee employee productivity, providing guidance and support where necessary.
  6. Prepare and manage departmental reports, including FTEs and operating budgets.
  7. Organize regular staff meetings and in-services to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
  8. Take on on-call responsibilities to ensure continuity of service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Patient Access leadership in an acute care environment.
  • Background in high-volume ER settings with multiple beds.
  • Proven track record in leadership and management.
  • At least three years of experience as a Patient Access Manager in an acute ER setting.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
