Job Summary:

As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of the operating room, including setup and organization of equipment and supplies
  • Assistance to surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
  • Maintenance of sterile conditions throughout the operating room
  • Transportation of patients to and from surgery
  • Collaboration with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
