Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for providing care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for patient arrivals by setting up and preparing equipment for ordered tests.
  • Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and explain testing procedures.
  • Perform testing and additional testing required for sleep disorders.
  • Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies.
  • Educate patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.
  • Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing.
  • Determine and report needed repairs and replacements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program (preferred).
  • Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or equivalent, or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure if required by law.
