Responsibilities- Provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
- Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Deliver effective relationship-based nursing care and demonstrate technical skills in care delivery.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
- Develop and maintain skills and knowledge to contribute to the professional practice of nursing.
- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
- 2+ years of nursing experience (Level II only).
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Ability to use a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies.
- 18 CNEs per year (Level II only).
- 3 CNEs in clinical specialty (Level II only).
- At least 5 CNEs in Leadership (Level II only).
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, as well as pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds. The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, grasp, feel, talk, and hear is also required.
Travel RequirementsThis role requires occasional travel, up to 10% of the time.
