Job Description

The Director of Manufacturing Operations will oversee all aspects of production, from supply chain management to quality control. This role involves strategic planning, building relationships with vendors, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and scalability.



Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that aligns with our growth objectives, focusing on scalability, cost-efficiency, and quality.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to optimize the supply chain and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Evaluate, recommend, and implement an inventory management system that enables our growth, partnering with the contract manufacturer and field operations to manage inventory tracking and logistics.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes and standards across all production stages to minimize defects and returns.
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, driving Lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing management, including 5+ years in a leadership role within the electronics or electrical equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated abilities in strategic planning, operations management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Technical proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
