We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams on patients and ensuring accurate imaging studies.
Job Requirements- Must be a graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program.
- Must be registered in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
- Must hold Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification through the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Preferred: Must have Advanced Registry in Mammography (ARRT) (M) certification within 180 days of entry into the job.
As a Mammography Tech, you will be working in a clinical environment with exposure to ionizing radiation. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
