About the Role:
Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Program Staff to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
Requirements:
You're 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion.
Get ready to ace a background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
You've got the green light from your doctor - medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
You're warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with kiddos, parents, or fellow team members. Plus, you're professional, reliable, and always prompt.
You're ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with kids.
