Summary
East Tennessee State University is offering multiple openings for the role of Athletic Training Intern for the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will engage in various aspects of athletic training, including but not limited to:
- Prevention of athletic injuries
- Assessment and evaluation of injuries
- Implementation of treatment protocols
- Rehabilitation of student-athletes
Assignments to specific sports will be allocated after the selection process is complete. Additional duties may be assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine. Interns will also have the chance to collaborate with outpatient medical services through the BucSports Athletic Medicine Center, a comprehensive clinic that provides both medical and athletic training services to student-athletes and the wider community.
Contract Details
The internship contract will commence on a specified date and will be subject to annual renewal.

Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a CAATE accredited athletic training program.
- Current certification and eligibility for licensure in the state of Tennessee.
