Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, promoting Walgreens services and products.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
