Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Water Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and technological excellence in our clients across the US.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and perform engineering assessments, investigations, and planning work.
- Perform data acquisition and analysis, researching the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and/or regulatory agency specifications or regulations.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Lead engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks.
- Perform field observations of construction procedures.
- Lead design and development of plans and drawings, including development of preliminary layouts and/or final drawings.
- Develop specifications and permit applications and write miscellaneous reports.
- Provide guidance as an experienced professional to junior staff.
- Supervise and prepare construction cost estimates and schedules for design projects by coordinating and reviewing quantity takeoffs and pricing.
- Evaluate project scope change orders and negotiate settlement.
- Perform or assist with project constructability and value engineering reviews.
- Uphold engineering ethics and professional standards of conduct.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or graduate-level technical coursework preferred.
- Seven years of relevant experience since B.S. or six years since M.S.
- Typical incumbent has ten to fourteen years of experience.
- Significant experience in utilities design and/or utility relocation. Roadway project experience a plus.
- P.E. License is required.
