Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a highly competitive salary of $344,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn up to $250 per hour through moonlighting. Additionally, our company offers a generous relocation assistance program, depending on SBUH and IRS guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Emergency Specialist to join our team at University Hospital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) or other psychiatric emergency setting, providing clinical experience with psychiatric patients. You will also be responsible for evaluating and managing patients in CPEP/ED, as well as teaching and supervising residents, nurses, and medical students.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Clinical experience with psychiatric patients in a CPEP or other psychiatric emergency setting
  • Evaluating and managing patients in CPEP/ED
  • Teaching and supervising residents, nurses, and medical students
  • Participating in after-hours practice opportunities available through the hospital
  • No offsite practices or patients may be seen outside of the medical center
