The Barista is tasked with taking customer orders for food and beverages, serving items, preparing detailed checks, and occasionally processing payments.

Additional responsibilities may include guiding guests to their tables, serving patrons at counters, setting up and clearing tables, or managing a cash register.

They are also responsible for verifying the identification of customers to ensure they meet the legal age requirements for alcohol purchases.

The Barista is committed to delivering the highest quality of service to guests in a prompt and courteous manner.

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hospitality or related field preferred.

Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)

Food Handlers certification (must comply with State regulations)

Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly.

Must be able to assess and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

Must perform well in high-pressure situations.

Essential Duties:
Adhere at all times to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Comply with certification requirements relevant to the position, including Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.

Be knowledgeable about the organization of the restaurant and lounge and understand the function of each job role.

Have a comprehensive understanding of menus and specials offered in the restaurant.

Serve guests with all food and beverage needs in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Clear, clean, and reset tables as necessary.

Be familiar with the operation of the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.

Carry out cashiering functions, including closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork.

Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignments.

Ensure that tables and side stations are kept stocked, tidy, and clean.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
