Environmental Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Service Aide to join our team at Sodus Rehab & Nursing Center. As an Environmental Service Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and stored properly.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical and plumbing work.
- Transport and store equipment, supplies, and materials as needed.
- Assist with preventative maintenance duties and complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ensure facility grounds are clean and well-maintained.
- Run errands for supplies and assist with other tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- General maintenance and repair experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, carry, and push heavy equipment and supplies. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
