Key Responsibilities- Provide peer support and guidance to first responders, helping them to cope with the emotional and psychological demands of their job.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with first responders, community agencies, and organizations to promote a culture of support and understanding.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of first responders.
- Document all activities and interactions with first responders, community agencies, and organizations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Lived experience as a first responder or family member of a first responder.
- Knowledge of community resources and connections.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Basic-Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working and professional relationships with a wide range of community agencies and organizations.
