Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive legal guidance on bankruptcy issues, including filings, litigation, and negotiations.
- Advocate for clients in bankruptcy proceedings, ensuring their interests are vigorously represented.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare necessary documents, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Provide strategic advice on debt restructuring and risk management.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to efficiently manage caseloads.
- Stay informed on bankruptcy law developments, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an AM200 Firm or a firm with 70+ employees is preferred.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school is required.
- Bar admission in relevant states is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law, focusing on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases.
- Strong negotiation, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Litigation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
