Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general inspection of all operating room equipment, reporting any malfunctioning machinery, and maintaining a clean anesthesia workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for the general inspection of all operating room equipment.
  • Report any malfunctioning machinery to the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain a clean anesthesia workspace in the Operating Room.
  • Provide assistance in the set up of anesthesia equipment and supplies in individual anesthetizing locations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in an operating room setting, or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in an operating room setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in an OR setting and prior experience as an anesthesia technologist are highly desirable.
