Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Track, administer, and quality control data for the Operations Team's Key Performance Indicators, providing analytics and insights to inform business decisions.
  • PetroSight Administration: Manage PetroSight, including creating and managing wells, events, and user accounts, ensuring seamless system functionality.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for PetroSight users, addressing system issues and questions in a timely and effective manner.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Complete and submit Post-Drill Wellbore Data (WBD) reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and manage the submission of hydraulic fracturing chemical use information.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date records, preparing and submitting reports to regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly track and report on compressor runtime metrics, analyzing data for performance insights and reporting findings to the management team.
  • Regulatory Support: Assist with regulatory compliance efforts, including preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Spreadsheet Management: Update and maintain rig analysis spreadsheet, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and provide analysis and reporting based on spreadsheet data for operational decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Applied Sciences.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on operations, maintenance, or technical support roles.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience in operations management or system administration, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PetroSight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Applied Sciences.
  • Additional Experience: 8+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on operations, maintenance, or technical support roles.
Compensation and Benefits

Bison Oil & Gas IV, LLC offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $83,500 - $132,400 annually, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.

Work Environment

This position operates in an office and field environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting and occasionally visit work sites, which may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, dust, electrical charges, and other unforeseen exposures.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time, and may be asked to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Position Type and Working Hours

This is a full-time position, with typical work hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on working Friday's, with occasional overtime and participation in meetings, events, seminars, conferences, or other activities outside of typical work hours.

Travel

Occasional travel to work site locations may be expected, with overnight stays required from time to time for training, seminars, field visits, or visits to onsite locations.
