As a Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including imaging results and patient information.
- 2+ years of recent experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist.
- Current certification in medical imaging, such as ARRT or NMTCB.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
