Position Overview
Howmet Aerospace is a premier global supplier of advanced engineered solutions tailored for the aerospace and transportation sectors. As we advance towards the next generation of more fuel-efficient and quieter aerospace engines, we are on the lookout for a dynamic Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will be situated within our Ti-Ingot Operations and will report directly to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Spearhead the shop floor cost management system.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of financial and operational outcomes.
3. Oversee monthly tracking and reconciliation of accounts receivable discrepancies.
4. Manage month-end closing processes and reporting, including account reconciliations and coordination of closing entries across various locations.
5. Take ownership of daily reporting mechanisms.
6. Provide support for capital appropriation and fixed asset management.
7. Analyze plant expenditures and lead initiatives for spend management.
8. Extract data and develop comprehensive reports.
9. Perform financial analysis and process development for special projects as necessary.
10. Facilitate annual and quarterly corporate tax reporting.
11. Offer support through ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
12. Ensure compliance with Alcoa's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of financial experience within manufacturing environments.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Concentration in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- An MBA is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Experience in querying databases.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles.
