We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing.
Job Summary:The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. This includes assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs before, during, and after surgery
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Provide education to patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- At least 18 months of experience in an acute care surgery setting
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
