Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing occupational therapy programs to help patients achieve maximum independence and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve established goals
  • Initiate discharge planning for occupational therapy
  • Implement the treatment program through direct treatment of the patient
  • Coordinate the treatment program with other healthcare personnel as appropriate
  • Provide advice and education to patients and families
  • Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine the effectiveness of treatment and progress towards goals
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelor's or master's degree
  • Certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent
  • Basic Life Support required at hire from American Heart Association
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
