Snowboard Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Snowboard Instructor to join our team at Cooper Hill Ski Area. As a Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding guests of all ages and skill levels in the art of snowboarding.

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of snowboarding techniques and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve teaching skills and knowledge

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation to the resort
• PSIA/AASI certification is preferred but not required
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching and working with others

The Snowboard Instructor position is based primarily outside and is exposed to temperature extremes, sun and wind exposure, inclement weather, and high altitudes. The physical demands of the job include walking on uneven terrain, climbing and descending stairs, standing and sitting for long periods, and lifting objects that may be heavy.

This is a winter seasonal position with an expected season of early December 2024 through early-mid April 2025. Employment in subsequent seasons is not guaranteed.
