About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Automation Specialist to join our team at TrueLine Publishing. This role will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of customer jobs, working closely with technicians to develop new automation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble customer jobs according to specifications
  • Work with mechanical and electrical blueprints to ensure accurate production
  • Document job changes and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM's)
  • Maintain accurate time logging for jobs
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support company goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical school preferred
  • Electrical wiring and crimping skills, small to large wire gauge and cable assemblies
  • Knowledge and experience operating power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret production job orders and bill of materials
  • Basic troubleshooting ability

Physical Demands/Work Conditions

The assembler will stand for 8-10 hours per day with periodic sitting, walking, stooping, and reaching, as well as frequently lifting manually and/or moving material up to 50 pounds. The typical manufacturing environment may be subject to dust, metal shavings, machinery oil, and electrical hazards.
