Position Overview

As a Senior SQL Server Developer at Gainwell Technologies, you will apply your expertise to empower our clients in improving the health and well-being of their communities.   • Proven experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 is essential. Ability to create complex stored procedures and functions.
  • Optimize lengthy queries utilizing tuning advisor and execution plans. Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Services and performance tuning is required.
  • Employ DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language) to construct and implement database objects, including tables, views, user-defined functions, and stored procedures.
  • Adhere to database security regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Develop reporting deliverables, including DDL/DML SQL scripts.
  • Engage in the analysis and development of tasks related to business reporting requirements.
  • Implement best practices, checklists, and established processes.
  • Participate in data analysis for necessary database objects.
  • Demonstrate strong architectural and design capabilities, having implemented various design patterns and frameworks.
  • Exhibit strong debugging skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in stored procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of error handling techniques.
  • Experience in agile project environments is preferred.
Qualifications

6+ years of experience in SQL Server Development with SQL Server 2008/2012
  • Proficient in writing complex stored procedures and functions.
  • Skilled in optimizing long-running queries using tuning advisor and execution plans.
  • Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and performance tuning.
  • Ability to utilize DDL and DML for building and deploying database objects.
  • Knowledge of database security regulations and policies.
  • Experience in creating reporting deliverables, including DDL/DML SQL scripts.
  • Understanding of technology architecture, product development life cycle, cloud technologies, and software as a service.
  • Strong relational database manipulation skills and software development capabilities across modules.
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks and mentor junior colleagues.
