Job Title: Nurse RN

UPMC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse RN to join our team in Westmoreland County and Eastern Alleghany area. As a Professional Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality skilled nursing services to patients in their homes, according to the physician's plan of care and agency policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate case management activities within an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Attend compliance training and adhere to organization standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Focus on customer service and continually strive to perform duties in a manner that results in optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Complete initial and comprehensive assessments of patients, and constructively receive feedback and direction.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and ensure ongoing communication with the physician and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement.
  • CPR certification based on AHA standards.
  • Graduate nurses must complete licensure examination within six months of hire or within one year of graduation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with executives, managers, physicians, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities, and specialized equipment.
