  • Maintain new items and weekly specials, promoting them to customers and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate temperature failures of cases and storage areas to the manager in charge, ensuring prompt attention to any issues.
  • Observe and adhere to policies and procedures established for the department, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Greet all customers and be observant, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook, maintaining a high level of integrity and responsibility.

Supplemental Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program in compliance with store, local, and state health regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Assist in the preparation of hot foods and all other foods, maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and pricing products, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Dexterity in hands to enable slicing and preparing of all deli products, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds up to 20% of the time, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
