The Role
The e-commerce sector has experienced remarkable expansion recently, becoming a fiercely competitive arena among leading internet firms. TikTok is poised to offer a unique and enhanced e-commerce experience to our extensive user base. Our product engineering team is tasked with developing a secure, innovative, and user-friendly e-commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and various teams to envision the future of shopping experiences on TikTok.
- Oversee comprehensive system design across multiple teams and functions.
- Ensure the creation of an intuitive and dependable shopping experience, encompassing product browsing, checkout, returns, and refunds.
- Manage Promotion and Campaign initiatives, developing platforms and tools for merchants and businesses to optimize campaign management and derive actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with E-Commerce Products or related industries such as Retail, Travel, or Financial Services.
- Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms, with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Experience in hybrid cross-platform development is a plus.
- Solid understanding of business principles, technical abstraction, and system module design.
- Experience with large-scale website architecture.
