As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be accountable for the daily financial entries, month-end closing processes, and the preparation of financial documentation for various divisions and subsidiaries of Kubota, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Your responsibilities will include preparing account reconciliations, calculating necessary adjustments, and posting journal entries across ledgers, intercompany accounts, inventory, bank accounts, and payroll accounts. You will also conduct analytical reviews of the company's financial accounts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role involves the following tasks in compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and local laws, as well as the Company's policies and procedures:
Guide and mentor new team members in the department.

Calculate, input, and record specific account balances in accordance with GAAP, which includes but is not limited to accruals for expenses, reserves for contingencies, reclassifications of expenses, and daily cash transactions.

Reconcile and analyze selected general ledger accounts to ensure accurate transaction recording.

Accounts may encompass any or all of the following, but are not limited to:

subsidiary ledgers, inter-company ledgers, bank accounts, advances, prepaid expenses, inventories, fixed assets, Construction-In-Progress, Personal and Real Property taxes, and marketing accruals.

Conduct analytical reviews of accounts to identify variances or trends that will assist in business management decisions.
Support and prepare PBC (prepared by client) audits and reviews.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
A CPA license is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and general accounting processes is essential.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.
Experience with SAP is desirable but not mandatory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Typical office setting.
