Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Specialist to join our team at RightWorks Inc. As a key member of our energy management team, you will play a critical role in implementing our countrywide Resource Efficiency Manager initiative.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in energy engineering and a proven track record of delivering energy management projects. You will be responsible for conducting feasibility analyses, measuring and verifying energy savings, and promoting energy awareness in federal sites and private sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct energy, water, and resource efficiency project feasibility analyses
  • Measure and verify energy savings
  • Facilitate alternative financing projects
  • Reduce supply-side costs
  • Promote energy awareness
  • Enhance operations and maintenance efficiency
  • Utilize new technologies, including renewable energy sources

Requirements:

  • Active Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineering License
  • Experience with energy analysis software, such as Trane Traced, HAP, and E-Quest
