**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead the team in servicing real estate clients, utilizing technical tax, analytical, operational, and management skills.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to real estate clients, providing guidance on industry trends and offering proactive solution options.
* Manage compliance and consulting in areas such as Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, Section 1231 gain/loss calculations, and partnership/LLC operating agreements.
* Demonstrate proficient technical skills in handling all client responsibilities, including understanding trends and industries.
* Own client relationships, understanding their goals and needs, and strategizing with Managing Directors on tax planning.
* Provide clients with recommendations and guidance to achieve their goals, identifying growth opportunities.
* Research tax and accounting issues and provide guidance to clients, ensuring compliance and optimization.
* Assist senior management in mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or relevant field.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting, with 5 years in a supervisory role.
* Must have and preserve required licenses.
* Proficient use of applicable technology.
* Must be able to travel based on business needs.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $200,000, based on education, experience, and skill set. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, certification incentives, education assistance, and more.
