Company Overview:

The Ladders is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller and is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely preparation of general ledger account reconciliations along with associated schedules.
  • Support the financial statement review process to ensure accurate balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents as required.
  • Record journal entries for transactions, accruals, and amortizations.
  • Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations and oversee the coding of daily bank entries.
  • Ensure data integrity by reconciling various data sets, including credit card, sales, inventory, and purchase transactions.
  • Participate actively in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist with analytics and provide support for external auditors and tax professionals.
  • Collaborate with the controller and accounting team on special projects and ad hoc requests.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior Accountant capacity.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Great Plains and/or UKG is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
