Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents at The Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to identify their physical and emotional needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisors.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, care plans, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
  • Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arkansas or compact State.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move residents with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Good visual and auditory acuity.
Schedule

This is a PRN (as needed) position. Shifts may vary based on facility needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
